Another rainy day

It may be another rainy day here in my little space, but I am thankful to be here. I am a little dismayed at our government: Health Care Nightmare
A new study out shows that spending on health care rose about 2.5 trillion in 2009, 8,047 per person, and will double by 2019. Washington needs to come together for the people of this nation, stop all the political crap! We can not afford to get sick, cannot afford to die. The new American dream is to stay healthy or risk loosing everything we have worked so hard for if we dare get sick.Nothing to leave our children but a load of debt, and a government that does not work for the people, unless the people can line their pockets with wealth, which leaves me out and everyone I know.If all the big government leaders were there to help any of us,they would move beyond their petty spreading of hate, name calling, mud and crap slinging and do something for a change! Stop acting like spoiled brats, and do something! I am ashamed of all of you!

A slice of heaven.

We live at the foot of Chilhowee Mountain in Polk County Tennessee. This is a beautiful part of the country. There's not much happening most of the time. That's not a bad thing. We had bears around all last summer and well into Nov. We see deer all the time. I am ready for spring and time to garden. Spring and summer are very busy with the gardening, canning, and outdoor work but I love it. I am very thankful for our many blessing!
